سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ اسْتِلَامِ الْحَجَرِ مِنْ قِبَلِ الْبَابِ فَقَالَ أَ لَيْسَ إِنَّمَا تُرِيدُ أَنْ تَسْتَلِمَ الرُّكْنَ قُلْتُ نَعَمْ قَالَ يُجْزِئُكَ حَيْثُ مَا نَالَتْ يَدُكَ.

10. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Nu’man from Sa‘id al-’A‘raj who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about touching the Black Stone from the side of the door. He (the Imam) said, ‘Is it not the case that you want to touch the corner?’ I said, ‘Yes, that is what I want.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Whichever way your hand reaches is sufficient.’”

[3]لعل مراد السائل أنّه قد تجاوز عن الركن إلى الباب فيمد يده ليستلم فلا يصل يده إلى الحجر فاجاب عليه السلام بانه إذا استلم الركن جاز، أو المراد أنّه هل يكفى استلام الحجر على هذا الوجه فأجاب بانه إذا وصلت يده باى جزء كان من الحجر يكفيه و لا يلزم أن يكون مقابلا له و الأول أظهر.( آت)ص 406
