مَرَّ رَجُلٌ بِوَادِي مُحَسِّرٍ فَأَمَرَهُ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بَعْدَ الِانْصِرَافِ إِلَى مَكَّةَ أَنْ يَرْجِعَ فَيَسْعَى.

2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Hajjal from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “A man passed by Wadiy Muhassar and abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), after his arriving in Makkah commanded him to go back to perform Sa‘y (running slowly).”’ (Fatwa best explains Hadith 1-2 of this Chapter)

[2]قال في المصباح: حسّرته- بالثقيل: أوقعته في الحسرة و باسم الفاعل سمى وادى محسر و هو ما بين منى و مزدلفة سمّى بذلك لان فيل ابرهة كل فيه و أعيا فحسّر أصحابه بفعله و أوقعهم في الحسرات.ص 470
[4]قال في المدارك: المراد بالسعى هنا الهرولة و هي الاسراع في المشى للماشى و تحريك الدابّة للراكب و أجمع العلماء كافة على استحباب ذلك و لو ترك السعى فيه رجع فسعى استحبابا.( آت)ص 470
