Abu Ali al-Ash’ariy has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd al-Jabbar from Safwan ibn Yahya from ibn Muskan from Ghassan al- Basriy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said that if one visits the grave of abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), with proper understanding of his rights, Allah forgives his past sins and whatever sins come later on.”
