بِهَذَا الْإِسْنَادِ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ إِنَّمَا يُؤْمَرُ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَ يُنْهَى عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ مُؤْمِنٌ فَيَتَّعِظُ أَوْ جَاهِلٌ فَيَتَعَلَّمُ وَ أَمَّا صَاحِبُ سَوْطٍ أَوْ سَيْفٍ فَلَا.

2. With this chain of narration, Abu Abdullah (a.s.) said, ‘Verily, enjoining what is good and forbidding what is evil is incumbent upon a believer so he admonishes, or upon an ingorant so he learns from it; but as for the wielder of a whip or a sword, then no.’
