سَمِعْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع يَقُولُ بَايَعْتُ رَجُلًا فَلَمَّا بَايَعْتُهُ قُمْتُ فَمَشَيْتُ خِطَاءً ثُمَّ رَجَعْتُ إِلَى مَجْلِسِي لِيَجِبَ الْبَيْعُ حِينَ افْتَرَقْنَا.

Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from abu Ayyub from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I heard abu Ja‘far (a.s.), saying, ‘I once purchased something from someone; then I got up and walked a few steps, then returned to the meeting place so that the deal becomes binding.’”
