25. Humayd ibn Ziyad has narrated from al-Hassan ibn Muhammad ibn Sama‘ah from more than one person from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from Muhammad who has said the following: “Once he (the Imam) (a.s.), was asked about the decorated sword and sword of iron which was gilded and was sold for dirhams. He (the Imam) said, ‘Yes, and it can be sold for gold also.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘It is Makruh (detestable) to sell it on credit.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘If the price is more than silver, it is not unlawful.’”
