سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ع عَنْ قَطْعِ السِّدْرِ فَقَالَ سَأَلَنِي رَجُلٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِكَ عَنْهُ فَكَتَبْتُ إِلَيْهِ قَدْ قَطَعَ أَبُو الْحَسَنِ ع سِدْراً وَ غَرَسَ مَكَانَهُ عِنَباً.

7. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn abu Nasr who has said the following: “I once asked abu al-Hassan (a.s.), about cutting down a lotus tree. He (the Imam) said, ‘One of your people asked me about it and I wrote to him that abu al-Hassan (a.s.), once cut down a lotus tree and planted in its place grape-vines.’”

[1]السؤال من جهة ان العامّة رووا عن النبيّ صلّى اللّه عليه و آله أنّه لعن قاطع السدرة و روى انه لما قطع المتوكل لعنه اللّه- السدرة التي كانت عند قبر الحسين عليه السلام و بها كان الناس يعرفون قبره ثمّ قال بعض العلماء في ذلك الوقت: الآن بان معنى حديث النبيّ صلّى اللّه عليه و آله( آت) أقول:ص 264
