عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

جَاءَ رَجُلٌ إِلَى أَمِيرِ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع فَقَالَ يَا أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ إِنَّ امْرَأَتِي حَلَبَتْ مِنْ لَبَنِهَا فِي مَكُّوكٍ فَأَسْقَتْهُ جَارِيَتِي فَقَالَ أَوْجِعِ امْرَأَتَكَ وَ عَلَيْكَ بِجَارِيَتِكَ وَ هُوَ هَكَذَا فِي قَضَاءِ عَلِيٍّ ع.

5. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once a man came to ’Amir al-Mu’minin, and said, ‘O ’Amir al-Mu’minin, my wife drained her milk in a bowl and made my slave-girl to drink it.’ He (the Imam) said, ‘Make your woman suffer (judicially applicable punishment) and keep your slave- girl’. This is how it is in the judgment of Ali (a.s.).”’
