سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْمَرْأَةِ وَ لَا أَدْرِي مَا حَالُهَا أَ يَتَزَوَّجُهَا الرَّجُلُ مُتْعَةً قَالَ يَتَعَرَّضُ لَهَا فَإِنْ أَجَابَتْهُ إِلَى الْفُجُورِ فَلَا يَفْعَلْ.

4. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Ibn Abi ‘Umayr from in a marfu’ manner from ‘Abd Allah ibn abu Ya’fur who has said the following: “This is concerning my question before abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, about the case of a woman whose condition is not known; if a man can marry her in the manner of al-Mut‘ah (advantageous marriage). He (the Imam) said, ‘He can propose unlawful activities; if she agreed, he then must stay away from her.’”
