سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ ع- عَنِ امْرَأَةٍ أَحَلَّتْ لِي جَارِيَتَهَا فَقَالَ ذَاكَ لَكَ قُلْتُ فَإِنْ كَانَتْ تَمْزَحُ قَالَ وَ كَيْفَ لَكَ بِمَا فِي قَلْبِهَا فَإِنْ عَلِمْتَ أَنَّهَا تَمْزَحُ فَلَا.

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Muhammad Bin Ismail Bin Yzaie who said, ‘I asked Abu Al-Hassan asws about a woman who permitted her slave girl to me. So he asws said: ‘That is for you’. I said, ‘Supposing it was in jest (as a joke)?’ He asws said: ‘And how could it be for you what is in her heart? So, if she were to let you know that rather it was in jest, so no’.
