الْخُمُسُ وَ عَنِ الْمَعَادِنِ كَمْ فِيهَا فَقَالَ الْخُمُسُ وَ عَنِ الرَّصَاصِ وَ الصُّفْرِ وَ الْحَدِيدِ وَ مَا كَانَ مِنَ الْمَعَادِنِ كَمْ فِيهَا فَقَالَ يُؤْخَذُ مِنْهَا كَمَا يُؤْخَذُ مِنْ مَعَادِنِ الذَّهَبِ وَ الْفِضَّةِ.

Hadith.1645 - Ubaydullah ibn Ali al-Halabi asked Abu Abdullah Imam Jafar ibn Muhammad Al-Sadiq (as) about buried treasure: "How much is due on it?" Imam (as) replied: "The Khums (one-fifth)." He then asked about mines: "How much is due on them?" Imam (as) replied: "The Khums." He further asked about lead, brass, iron, and other mineral types: "How much is due on them?" The Imam (as) replied: "The same is taken from them as is taken from mines of gold and silver."

[2]يدل على وجوب الخمس في الكنز و المعادن جميعا. روى الشيخ في التهذيب ج 1 ص 383 في الصحيح عن محمّد بن مسلم عن أبي جعفر( ع) قال:« سألته عن معادن الذهب و الفضة و الصفر و الحديد و الرصاص، فقال: عليها الخمس جميعا». و روى الكليني في الحسن كالصحيح نحوه.ص 40
