وَ سَأَلَهُ مُعَاوِيَةُ بْنُ عَمَّارٍ عَنْ دَجَاجِ الْحَبَشِ فَقَالَ

Hadith.2380 - Mu'awiya ibn Ammar asked him about Ethiopian chickens. Imam (as) replied: "It is not considered part of the game (ṣayd); game birds are those that fly between the sky and the earth and flap their wings."

[2]« دجاج الحبش» قيل انه طائر أغبر اللون في قدر الدجاج الاهلى أصله من البحر و يظهر من كلام بعض أن كل دجاج أصله من الحبش« فقال ليس من الصيد» بل هو ما كان ممتنعا بالطيران. و الدجاج و ان كان يطير لكن ليس له صفيف مثل ما للحمام بل له دفيف فقط.( م ت).ص 264
