لَا بَأْسَ بِقَطْعِهَا إِذَا كُنْتَ إِنَّمَا تُصْلِحُ بِهِ مَالَكَ ثُمَّ قَالَ إِنَّ فِي كِتَابِ عَلِيٍّ ع أَنَّ مَا قُطِعَ مِنْهَا مَيْتٌ لَا يُنْتَفَعُ بِهِ.

Hadith.4176 - Al-Kahili narrated from Abu Abdillah (as) that a man asked him a question while I was present about cutting the tails of sheep. Imam (as) said: "There is no harm in cutting them if you are doing so to improve your wealth." Then Imam (as) said: "Indeed, in the book of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as), it is written: 'Whatever is cut from a living animal is considered dead and should not be used.'"

[1]يعني عبد اللّه بن يحيى، و طريق المؤلّف إليه صحيح، و رواه الكليني عنه بسند فيه سهل بن زياد و هو ضعيف على المشهور.ص 329
[2]يدل على جواز قطع أليات الغنم إذا كان الغرض اصلاح المال و أن المقطوع ميتة يحرم الانتفاع به مطلقا حتّى الاستصباح به كما ذكره الاصحاب، و انما جوزوا الانتفاع بالدهن المتنجس تحت السماء. و أليات جمع ألية و هي طرف الشاة و يقال لها بالفارسية( دنبه).ص 329
