قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع قَضَى عَلِيٌّ ع فِي رَجُلٍ تَزَوَّجَ امْرَأَةَ رَجُلٍ أَنَّهُ رَجَمَ الْمَرْأَةَ وَ ضَرَبَ الرَّجُلَ الْحَدَّ وَ قَالَ ع لَوْ عَلِمْتُ أَنَّكَ عَلِمْتَ لَفَضَخْتُ رَأْسَكَ بِالْحِجَارَةِ.

Hadith.4994 - Shuayb narrated from Abu Baṣir who said that Abu Jafar (as) said: "Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) ruled in the case of a man who married another man's wife, that the woman should be stoned, and the man should be given the prescribed punishment (for fornication). Imam (as) then said: 'If I knew that you were aware (that she was already married), I would have crushed your head with stones.'"
