Hadith.5011 - Narrated by Aban from Zurara from Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) who said: "A man is subjected to the prescribed punishment (hadd) while standing, and a woman while sitting. Every part of the body is struck except the face and the private parts."

[3]المذاكير جمع الذكر على خلاف القياس و لعله انما جمع لشموله للخصيتين تغليبا أو لما حوله كقولهم شابت مفارق رأسه. و في الشرائع يجلد الزانى مجردا، و قيل على الحال التي وجد عليها قائما أشدّ الضرب و روى متوسطا و يفرق على جسده و يتقى رأسه و وجهه و فرجه، و المرأة تضرب جالسة و تربط ثيابها.ص 29
