وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ السَّكُونِيِ‌ أَنَّ عَلِيّاً ع أُتِيَ بِرَجُلٍ أَصَابَ حَدّاً وَ بِهِ قُرُوحٌ فِي جَسَدِهِ كَثِيرَةٌ فَقَالَ عَلِيٌّ ع أَقِرُّوهُ حَتَّى يَبْرَأَ لَا تَنْكَئُوهَا عَلَيْهِ فَتَقْتُلُوهُ‌.

Hadith.5030 - In the narration of Al-Sakuni: It is reported that Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) was brought a man who had committed an offense deserving of a legal punishment (hadd), and the man had numerous sores on his body. Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) said: "Delay the execution of the punishment until he recovers. Do not aggravate his sores, lest you kill him."
