وَ فِي رِوَايَةِ زِيَادِ بْنِ مَرْوَانَ الْقَنْدِيِّ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ‌ ع قَالَ:

لَا يُقْطَعُ السَّارِقُ فِي سَنَةِ الْمَحْقِ‌ فِي شَيْ‌ءٍ يُؤْكَلُ مِثْلِ الْخُبْزِ وَ اللَّحْمِ وَ الْقِثَّاءِ.

Hadith.5144 - In the narration of Ziyad ibn Marwan Al-Qandi from someone who reported from Abu Abdullah (as), he said: "The hand of a thief is not to be cut off during a year of famine for stealing anything edible, such as bread, meat, or cucumbers."
