وَ رَوَى الْعَلَاءُ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع‌ الْوَصِيَّةُ حَقٌّ وَ قَدْ أَوْصَى رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص فَيَنْبَغِي لِلْمُسْلِمِ أَنْ يُوصِيَ‌.

Hadith.5412 - Al-Ala' narrated from Muhammad ibn Muslim, who said that Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) said: "Making a will is a duty, and the Messenger of Allah (swt) (peace be upon him and his family) indeed made a will. Therefore, it is appropriate for a Muslim to make a will."
