الْوُضُوءُ مُدٌّ وَ الْغُسْلُ صَاعٌ وَ سَيَأْتِي أَقْوَامٌ بَعْدِي يَسْتَقِلُّونَ ذَلِكَ فَأُولَئِكَ عَلَى خِلَافِ سُنَّتِي وَ الثَّابِتُ عَلَى سُنَّتِي مَعِي فِي حَظِيرَةِ الْقُدْسِ

Hadith.70 - The Messenger of Allah (sw) said: "Ablution (wudu) is a mud (a specific measure), and ghusl (ritual washing) is a saa' (a larger measure). There will come people after me who will underestimate these amounts, and those will be contrary to my Sunnah. The one who adheres to my Sunnah will be with me in the enclosure of holiness (Paradise)."

[3]فيصير مقدار الصاع مائة ألف و ثمانمائة شعيرة، و على المشهور الصاع أربعة أمداد و كل مد رطلان و ربع رطل عراقى و كل رطل مائة و ستون درهما و كل درهم ثمانية و أربعون شعيرا، فيكون مقدار المد أربعة عشر ألفا و أربعين شعيرا متوسطا، فمقدار الصاع على المشهور ستة و خمسون ألفا و مائة و ستون شعيرا( سلطان). و فيه وهم فتأمل.ص 34
