وَ قَالَ زُرَارَةُ قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع خَرَجَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع عَلَى قَوْمٍ فَرَآهُمْ يُصَلُّونَ فِي الْمَسْجِدِ قَدْ سَدَلُوا أَرْدِيَتَهُمْ فَقَالَ لَهُمْ مَا لَكُمْ قَدْ سَدَلْتُمْ ثِيَابَكُمْ كَأَنَّكُمْ يَهُودُ قَدْ خَرَجُوا مِنْ فُهْرِهِمْ يَعْنِي بِيعَتَهُمْ إِيَّاكُمْ وَ سَدْلَ ثِيَابِكُمْ.

Hadith.795 – Zurarah said that Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) said: "The Commander of the Faithful Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) came out to a group of people and saw them praying in the mosque with their cloaks draped (over their shoulders), and Imam (as) said to them: 'What is the matter with you that you drape your garments as if you are Jews coming out of their synagogues?' Meaning, beware of draping your garments (while praying)."

[3]السدل هو أن يلتحف بثوبه و يدخل يديه من داخل، فيركع و يسجد و هو كذلك و كانت اليهود تفعله فنهوا عنه، و هذا مطرد في القميص و غيره من الثياب. و قيل: هو أن يضع وسط الازار على رأسه و يرسل طرفيه عن يمينه و شماله من غير أن يجعلهما على كتفيه( النهاية) و فهر اليهود- بالضم-: مدارسهم و بيعهم، و الظاهر أن الكلمة أصلها عبرانية فعربت.ص 259
