1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Yunus who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), has said, ‘Nothing more useful enters the stomach of one suffering from Tuberculosis than bread of rice.’”

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Musa from al-Khashshab from Ali ibn Hassan from certain persons of our people who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Feed bread of rice to a person suffering from diarrhea; nothing else is more useful for such a sufferer than this, it also tans (treats) the stomach and dispels the pain sufficiently.’”

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from af-Sayyariy from Yahya ibn abu Rafi’ and other in a marfu‘ manner has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘No other food from lunch remains inside until night except bread of rice.’”

Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Faddal from ‘Abd Allah ibn Jundab from certain persons of his people who has said the following: “Once, sawiq was mentioned before abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and he (the Imam) said, ‘It was prepared by the instruction of divine revelation.’”

4. Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Bandar has narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from ‘Uthman ibn ‘Isa Khalid ibn Najih who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, sawiq is the food of the messengers’ or he (the Imam) said, ‘the food of the Prophets.’”
