بَابُ أَنَّ الرَّجُلَ إِذَا دَخَلَ بَلْدَةً فَهُوَ ضَيْفٌ عَلَى مَنْ بِهَا مِنْ إِخْوَانِهِ‌

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ إِبْرَاهِيمَ بْنِ إِسْحَاقَ الْأَحْمَرِ بِإِسْنَادِهِ عَمَّنْ ذَكَرَهُ عَنِ الْفُضَيْلِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ إِذَا دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ بَلْدَةً فَهُوَ ضَيْفٌ عَلَى مَنْ بِهَا مِنْ إِخْوَانِهِ وَ أَهْلِ دِينِهِ حَتَّى يَرْحَلَ عَنْهُمْ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ‘ Abd al-Rahman ibn Ishaq al-Ahmar through the chain of his narrators from those whom he has mentioned from al-Fudayl ibn Yasar who has said the following: “Abu Ja‘far (a.s.), has stated this Hadith. ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “When a man enters a town he then is a guest of his brothers (in belief) who live there and the people of his religion until he leaves that town.”’

سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ إِذَا دَخَلَ رَجُلٌ بَلْدَةً فَهُوَ ضَيْفٌ عَلَى مَنْ بِهَا مِنْ أَهْلِ دِينِهِ حَتَّى يَرْحَلَ عَنْهُمْ.

2. Abu Ali al-Ash‘ariy has narrated from al-Sayyariy from Muhammad ibn ‘Abd Allah al-Karkhiy from a man who has said the following: “I once heard abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), saying, ‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “When a man enters a town he is the guest of those who live there of the people of his religion until he leaves that town.’”
