بَابُ الْجُبُنِّ وَ الْجَوْزِ

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ

قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌ أَكْلُ الْجَوْزِ فِي شِدَّةِ الْحَرِّ يُهَيِّجُ الْحَرَّ فِي الْجَوْفِ وَ يُهَيِّجُ الْقُرُوحَ عَلَى الْجَسَدِ وَ أَكْلُهُ فِي الشِّتَاءِ يُسَخِّنُ الْكُلْيَتَيْنِ وَ يَدْفَعُ الْبَرْدَ.

1. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from af-Nawfafiy from af-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ’Eating walnut in hot weather stirs heat inside and blisters on the body; but eating it in winter warms up the kidneys and repels cold.’”

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ الْعَبْدِيِّ قَالَ

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ الْجُبُنُّ وَ الْجَوْزُ إِذَا اجْتَمَعَا فِي كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا شِفَاءٌ وَ إِنِ افْتَرَقَا كَانَ فِي كُلِّ وَاحِدٍ مِنْهُمَا دَاءٌ.

2. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Mahbub from ‘Abd ‘Abd al-’Aziz al-‘Abdiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘When cheese and walnut come together in each of them there is a cure but separately each one has an illness with it.’”

مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ إِدْرِيسَ بْنِ الْحَسَنِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ بْنِ زُرَارَةَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

إِنَّ الْجَوْزَ وَ الْجُبُنَّ إِذَا اجْتَمَعَا كَانَا دَوَاءً وَ إِذَا افْتَرَقَا كَانَا دَاءً.

3. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Idris ibn al-Hassan from ‘Ubayd ibn Zurarah who has said the following: “He (the Imam) (a.s.), has said, ‘Walnut and cheese together are medicine but separately they are ailments and diseases.’”
