Muhammad Bin Yahya narrated to me, and someone else, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad Bin Isa, from Al Husayn Bin Saeed, from Al Nazar Bin Suweyd, from Aasim Bin Humeyd, from Abu Baseer, Abu Abdullah asws has said: ‘The stoning is a bigger Penalty ( Hadd ) of Allah azwj and the whipping is the smaller Penalty ( Hadd ) of Allah azwj . So when the married man commits adultery, he would be stoned and not whipped’.
