بَابُ الْمُعْتَكِفِ لَا يَخْرُجُ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ الْحُسَيْنِ بْنِ سَعِيدٍ عَنْ فَضَالَةَ بْنِ أَيُّوبَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ سِنَانٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

لَيْسَ عَلَى الْمُعْتَكِفِ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا إِلَى الْجُمُعَةِ أَوْ جَنَازَةٍ أَوْ غَائِطٍ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from al-Husayn ibn Sa‘id from Fadalah ibn Ayyub from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that one in the state of Ttikaf must not go out of the Masjid unless it is for Friday Salat (prayer) or a funeral or defecation.”

[2]أي إلى مكان مطمئن لبول أو غائط و لا خلاف في جواز الخروج لهما لكن قال جماعة من المتأخرين: يجب تحرى اقرب الطرق إلى المواضع التي تصلح لقضاء الحاجة بحسب حاله و كذا لا خلاف في وجوب الخروج للجمعة الواجبة و جوازه لتشييع الجنازة و قال بعض المحققين: لا فرق في ذلك بين من تعين عليه حضور الجنازة و غيره لإطلاق النصّ و هو حسن.( آت)ص 178

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ سَهْلِ بْنِ زِيَادٍ عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ دَاوُدَ بْنِ سِرْحَانَ قَالَ:

كُنْتُ بِالْمَدِينَةِ فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَقُلْتُ لِأَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع إِنِّي أُرِيدُ أَنْ أَعْتَكِفَ فَمَا ذَا أَقُولُ وَ مَا ذَا أَفْرِضُ عَلَى نَفْسِي فَقَالَ لَا تَخْرُجْ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ لَا بُدَّ مِنْهَا وَ لَا تَقْعُدْ تَحْتَ ظِلَالٍ حَتَّى تَعُودَ إِلَى مَجْلِسِكَ.

2. A number of our people have narrated from Sahl ibn Ziyad from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from Dawud ibn Sarhan who has said the following: “I was in al-Madinah in the month of Ramadan and I said to abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), that I wanted to remain in ’ Ttikaf. What should I say and what should I place upon myself?’ He (the Imam) said, ‘You must not leave the Masjid except for something without which you cannot do; and you must not sit in the shadow until you return to your place.”

عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ حَمَّادٍ عَنِ الْحَلَبِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

لَا يَنْبَغِي لِلْمُعْتَكِفِ أَنْ يَخْرُجَ مِنَ الْمَسْجِدِ إِلَّا لِحَاجَةٍ لَا بُدَّ مِنْهَا- ثُمَّ لَا يَجْلِسُ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ وَ لَا يَخْرُجُ فِي شَيْ‌ءٍ إِلَّا لِجَنَازَةٍ أَوْ يَعُودُ مَرِيضاً وَ لَا يَجْلِسُ حَتَّى يَرْجِعَ وَ اعْتِكَافُ الْمَرْأَةِ مِثْلُ ذَلِكَ.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from ibn abu ‘ Umayr from Hammad from al-Halabiy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘It is not proper for one who is in ’Ttikaf to leave the Masjid, unless it is for such a need without which he cannot do. He then must not sit in the shadow until he returns to his place, and must not go out for anything except a funeral or to visit a patient and must not sit until he returns. ’Ttikaf of woman is also under the same rules.’”
