مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ عَبْدِ اللَّهِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عِيسَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ عَنْ أَبَانِ بْنِ عُثْمَانَ عَنْ أَبِي بَصِيرٍ عَنْ فَاطِمَةَ بِنْتِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ أُمَامَةَ بِنْتِ أَبِي الْعَاصِ بْنِ الرَّبِيعِ وَ أُمُّهَا زَيْنَبُ‌ بِنْتُ رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص قَالَ

تْ‌ أَتَانِي أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ عَلِيٌّ ع فِي شَهْرِ رَمَضَانَ فَأُتِيَ بِعَشَاءٍ وَ تَمْرٍ وَ كَمْأَةٍ فَأَكَلَ ع وَ كَانَ يُحِبُّ الْكَمْأَةَ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from Ali ibn al-Hakam, from Aban ibn ‘Uthman from abu Basir from Fatimah daughter Ali from ’Umamah daughter of abu al-‘Ass ibn al-Rabi‘ and her mother, Zaynab daughter the Messenger of Allah who has said the following: “Once ’Amir al-Mu’minin, Ali (a.s.), in the month of Ramadan came to me. For dinner, he brought dates and truffles. He (the Imam) ate it and he liked truffles.’”

عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ عَلِيٍّ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْفُضَيْلِ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ زَيْدٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ الْكَمْأَةُ مِنَ الْمَنِّ وَ الْمَنُّ مِنَ الْجَنَّةِ وَ مَاؤُهَا شِفَاءٌ لِلْعَيْنِ‌.

2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn abu ‘Abd Allah from Muhammad ibn Ali from Muhammad ibn al-Fudayl from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Zayd who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, ‘The truffle is from Manna (honeydew, a kind of tree sap) which is from paradise and its water is cure for the eye.’”

[1]المن: كل طل ينزل من السماء و ينعقد عسلا و يجف جفاف الصمغ كالشيرخشت و الطرنجبين و فسره في النهاية بالاحسان و قال في الحديث الكمأة من المن و ماؤها شفاء للعين. اى هي ممّا من اللّه به على عباده و قيل: شبهها بالمن و هو العسل الحلو الذي ينزل من السماء عفوا بلا علاج و كذلك الكمأة لا مئونة فيها ببذر و لا سقى.ص 370
