Hadith.5339 - In a narration from Al-Sakuni, it is reported that a man was brought before Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) who had tortured his slave until the slave died. Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) ordered that the man be lashed one hundred times as a form of punishment, imprisoned him, and required him to pay the value of the slave, which was then given in charity.
