قَالَ لِي أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع‌ لَمَّا حَضَرَتْ أَبِي ع الْوَفَاةُ ضَمَّنِي إِلَى صَدْرِهِ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا بُنَيَّ اصْبِرْ عَلَى الْحَقِّ وَ إِنْ كَانَ مُرّاً يُوَفَّ إِلَيْكَ أَجْرُكَ بِغَيْرِ حِسَابٍ.

Hadith.5891 - Abu Hamza Al-Thumali narrated that Abu Jafar Imam Muhammad ibn Ali Al-Baqir (as) said: "When death approached my father (as), he embraced me to his chest and said: 'O' my son, be patient upon the truth even if it is bitter, for your reward will be given to you without measure.'"

الْفَضْلُ بْنُ الْعَبَّاسِ أُهْدِيَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص بَغْلَةٌ أَهْدَاهَا لَهُ كِسْرَى أَوْ قَيْصَرُ فَرَكِبَهَا النَّبِيُّ ص بِجُلٍّ مِنْ شَعْرٍ وَ أَرْدَفَنِي خَلْفَهُ ثُمَّ قَالَ لِي يَا غُلَامُ احْفَظِ اللَّهَ يَحْفَظْكَ‌[3] وَ احْفَظِ اللَّهَ تَجِدْهُ أَمَامَكَ- تَعَرَّفْ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ فِي الرَّخَاءِ- يَعْرِفْكَ فِي الشِّدَّةِ[1] إِذَا سَأَلْتَ فَاسْأَلِ اللَّهَ وَ إِذَا اسْتَعَنْتَ فَاسْتَع
