Fasting

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ مَنْ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِلَا إِلَهَ إِلَّا اللَّهُ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَ مَنْ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِصِيَامِ يَوْمٍ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ وَ مَنْ خُتِمَ لَهُ بِصَدَقَةٍ يُرِيدُ بِهَا وَجْهَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ.

حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عُلْوَانَ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِ ثَابِتٍ عَنْ أَبِي جَعْفَرٍ ع قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص لِعَلِيٍّ ع‌ يَا عَلِيُّ أُوصِيكَ فِي نَفْسِكَ بِخِصَالٍ فَاحْفَظْهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ اللَّهُمَّ أَعِنْهُ أَمَّا الْأُولَى فَالصِّدْقُ وَ لَا تَخْرُجَنَّ مِنْ فِيكَ كَذِبَةٌ أَبَداً وَ الثَّانِيَةُ الْوَرَعُ حَتَّى لَا تَجْتَرِيَنَّ عَلَى خِيَانَةٍ أَبَداً[4] وَ الثَّالِثَةُ الْخَوْفُ‌ مِنَ اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ

ع يَا بُنَيَّ أَمَرَنِي رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَنْ أُوصِيَ إِلَيْكَ وَ أَنْ أَدْفَعَ إِلَيْكَ كُتُبِي وَ سِلَاحِي كَمَا أَوْصَى إِلَيَّ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص وَ دَفَعَ إِلَيَّ كُتُبَهُ وَ سِلَاحَهُ وَ أَمَرَنِي أَنْ آمُرَكَ إِذَا حَضَرَكَ الْمَوْتُ أَنْ تَدْفَعَهُ إِلَى أَخِيكَ الْحُسَيْنِ قَالَ ثُمَّ أَقْبَلَ عَلَى ابْنِهِ الْحُسَيْنِ ع فَقَالَ وَ أَمَرَكَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص أَنْ تَدْفَعَهُ إِلَى ابْنِكَ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحُسَ

"I witnessed the will of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib (as) when he appointed his son Imam Hasan ibn Ali (as) as his successor and made Imam Hussain ibn Ali (as), Muhammad (Hanafiya), all of his children, the prominent members of his household, and his followers (Shi'a) witnesses to his will. وَ رَوَى صَفْوَانُ بْنُ يَحْيَى وَ مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ أَبِي عُمَيْرٍ عَنْ مُوسَى بْنِ بَكْرٍ عَنْ زُرَارَةَ عَنِ الصَّادِقِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ ع قَالَ‌ الصَّنِيعَةُ[3] لَا تَكُونُ صَنِيعَةً إِلَّا عِنْدَ ذِي حَسَبٍ أَوْ دِينٍ الصَّلَاةُ قُرْبَانُ كُلِّ تَقِيٍ‌[4] الْحَجُّ جِهَادُ كُلِّ ضَعِيفٍ لِكُلِّ شَيْ‌ءٍ زَكَاةٌ وَ زَكَاةُ الْجَسَدِ الصِّيَامُ جِهَادُ الْمَرْأَةِ حُسْنُ التَّبَعُّلِ اسْتَنْزِلُوا الرِّزْقَ بِال
