سَأَلْتُ أَبَا الْحَسَنِ الرِّضَا ع- عَنْ أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ أَ لَهَا أَنْ تَكْشِفَ رَأْسَهَا بَيْنَ أَيْدِي الرِّجَالِ قَالَ تَقَنَّعُ[1].
“I once asked abu al-Hassan, al-Rida’ (a.s.), about the mother of children (slave-girls kept to give birth): if they can remove the covering from their heads before men. He (the Imam) said, ’She must use the veil.’”
