Domination of Women

قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص‌ مَا رَأَيْتُ مِنْ ضَعِيفَاتِ الدِّينِ وَ نَاقِصَاتِ الْعُقُولِ أَسْلَبَ لِذِي لُبٍّ مِنْكُنَّ.

"I never saw anyone more snatching from an intelligent person, than these weak in religion, deficient of reason; you women are."

أَتَيْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع فَخَرَجَ إِلَيَّ ثُمَّ قَالَ يَا عُقْبَةُ شَغَلَتْنَا عَنْكَ هَؤُلَاءِ النِّسَاءُ.

‘O ‘Uqbah, the women held us back from meeting you.”’
