The Cucumbers

كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَأْكُلُ الْقِثَّاءَ بِالْمِلْحِ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, would eat cucumber with salt.’”

قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع‌ إِذَا أَكَلْتُمُ الْقِثَّاءَ فَكُلُوهُ مِنْ أَسْفَلِهِ فَإِنَّهُ أَعْظَمُ لِبَرَكَتِهِ.

“Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘When you eat cucumber, eat it from the bottom because it is greater for blessing.”’
