يَطْرَحُهُ عَلَى النَّارِ فَكُلُّ مَا انْقَبَضَ فَهُوَ ذَكِيٌّ وَ كُلُّ مَا انْبَسَطَ فَهُوَ مَيِّتٌ.
“It is about the case of a man who enters a town where he finds a certain amount of meat, but does not know if it is clean (properly slaughtered) or from dead animals. He (the Imam) said, ‘He can throw it on fire. If it shrinks it is clean (properly slaughtered) but if expands it is from dead animals.”’
