Eating while Walking

خَرَجَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص قَبْلَ الْغَدَاةِ وَ مَعَهُ كِسْرَةٌ قَدْ غَمَسَهَا فِي اللَّبَنِ وَ هُوَ يَأْكُلُ وَ يَمْشِي وَ بِلَالٌ يُقِيمُ الصَّلَاةَ فَصَلَّى بِالنَّاسِ ص‌[2].

“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that once the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, came out in the morning with a piece of bread in his hand which he had immersed in milk. قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع‌ لَا بَأْسَ أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الرَّجُلُ وَ هُوَ يَمْشِي كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص يَفْعَلُ ذَلِكَ.

‘It is not unlawful if a man eats while walking. The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, ate while walking.’”
