قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص الضَّيْفُ يُلْطَفُ لَيْلَتَيْنِ فَإِذَا كَانَتْ لَيْلَةُ الثَّالِثَةِ فَهُوَ مِنْ أَهْلِ الْبَيْتِ يَأْكُلُ مَا أَدْرَكَ.
‘The Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, has said, “Special treatment should be offered to a guest for the two nights; but in the third night he is of the people of the family, and he eats what he receives.’””
قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص الضِّيَافَةُ أَوَّلَ يَوْمٍ وَ الثَّانِيَ وَ الثَّالِثَ وَ مَا بَعْدَ ذَلِكَ فَإِنَّهَا صَدَقَةٌ تُصُدِّقَ بِهَا عَلَيْهِ قَالَ ثُمَّ قَالَ ص لَا يَنْزِلُ أَحَدُكُمْ عَلَى أَخِيهِ حَتَّى يُوثِمَهُ مَعَهُ[1] قِيلَ يَا رَسُولَ اللَّهِ كَيْفَ يُوثِمُهُ قَالَ حَتَّى لَا يَكُونَ عِنْدَهُ مَا يُنْفِقُ عَلَيْهِ.
