كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِذَا أَكَلَ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ مَعَ الْقَوْمِ وَ آخِرَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُهَا إِلَى أَنْ يَأْكُلَ الْقَوْمُ.
when eating food with a people would, as the first one, begin eating and the be last to stop it, so that the people complete eating.’”
كَانَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ص إِذَا أَكَلَ مَعَ قَوْمٍ طَعَاماً كَانَ أَوَّلَ مَنْ يَضَعُ يَدَهُ وَ آخِرَ مَنْ يَرْفَعُهَا لِيَأْكُلَ الْقَوْمُ.
when eating food with a people would, as the first one, begin eating and be the last to stop it, so that the people complete eating.’”
سَمِعْتُهُ يَقُولُ إِنَّ الزَّائِرَ إِذَا زَارَ الْمَزُورَ فَأَكَلَ مَعَهُ أَلْقَى عَنْهُ الْحِشْمَةَ وَ إِذَا يَأْكُلُ مَعَهُ يَنْقَبِضُ قَلِيلًا.
‘When a visitor visits someone and eats with him, formality comes down, and when he eats with him (the visitor) feels constraint a little.’”
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللَّهِ ص كَانَ إِذَا أَتَاهُ الضَّيْفُ أَكَلَ مَعَهُ وَ لَمْ يَرْفَعْ يَدَهُ مِنَ الْخِوَانِ حَتَّى يَرْفَعَ الضَّيْفُ يَدَهُ.
