Contentment

حَدَّثَنَا عَلِيُّ بْنُ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ قُتَيْبَةَ عَنِ الْفَضْلِ بْنِ شَاذَانَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ الرِّضَا ع يَقُولُ‌ لَمَّا حُمِلَ رَأْسُ الْحُسَيْنِ ع إِلَى الشَّامِ أَمَرَ يَزِيدُ لَعَنَهُ اللَّهُ فَوُضِعَ وَ نُصِبَ عَلَيْهِ مَائِدَةٌ فَأَقْبَلَ هُوَ وَ أَصْحَابُهُ يَأْكُلُونَ وَ يَشْرَبُونَ الْفُقَّاعَ فَلَمَّا فَرَغُوا أَمَرَ بِالرَّأْسِ فَوُضِعَ فِي طَسْتٍ تَحْتَ سَرِيرَةٍ وَ بُسِطَ عَلَيْهِ رُقْعَةُ الشِّطْرَنْجِ

Ali ibn Muhammad ibn Qutaybah narrated to us from Al-Fadl ibn Shadhan, who said: I heard Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha (as), say: "'When the head of Imam Hussain ibn Ali (as), peace be upon him, was taken to Sham, Yazid - may Allah (swt) curse him - ordered that it be placed and a table was set upon it. مَنْ أَصْبَحَ مُعَافًى فِي بَدَنِهِ مُخَلًّى فِي سَرْبِهِ[1] عِنْدَهُ قُوتُ يَوْمِهِ فَكَأَنَّمَا حِيزَتْ لَهُ الدُّنْيَا

Hadith.5916 - Imam Ali ibn Musa Ar-Ridha (as) said: "Whoever begins his day in good health, secure in his surroundings, and has the sustenance for his day, it is as if the entire world has been gathered for him."
