مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ وَ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الْحَكَمِ وَ صَفْوَانَ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ مُسْلِمٍ عَنْ أَحَدِهِمَا ع قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْعَبْدِ يَتَزَوَّجُ أَرْبَعَ حَرَائِرَ قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنْ يَتَزَوَّجُ حُرَّتَيْنِ وَ إِنْ شَاءَ تَزَوَّجَ أَرْبَعَ إِمَاءٍ.

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, and Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ali Bin Al Hakam, and Safwan, from Al A’ala Bin Razeyn, from Muhammad Bin Muslim, (It has been narrated) from one of the two (5 th or 6 th Imam asws ), said, ‘I asked him asws about the slave marrying four free women. He asws said: ‘No, but he can marry two free women, and if he so desires to, he can marry four slave girls’.
