سَهْلُ بْنُ زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَسْبَاطٍ وَ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ الْحُسَيْنِ جَمِيعاً عَنِ الْحَكَمِ بْنِ مِسْكِينٍ عَنْ جَمِيلِ بْنِ دَرَّاجٍ قَالَ

سَمِعْتُ أَبَا عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع يَقُولُ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْعَبْدُ الْحُرَّةَ فَوُلْدُهُ أَحْرَارٌ وَ إِذَا تَزَوَّجَ الْحُرُّ الْأَمَةَ فَوُلْدُهُ أَحْرَارٌ.

Sahl Bin Ziyad, from Ali Bin Asbaat, and Muhammad Bin Al Husayn, altogether from Al Hakam Bin Miskeen, from Jameel Bin Darraj who said, ‘I heard Abu Abdullah asws saying: ‘When the slave marries the free woman, so his children would be free, and when the free man marries the slave woman, so his children would (also) be free’.
