عِدَّةٌ مِنْ أَصْحَابِنَا عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ خَالِدٍ عَنِ الْعَلَاءِ بْنِ رَزِينٍ عَنْ رَجُلٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

سَأَلْتُهُ عَنِ الْخَضْخَضَةِ- فَقَالَ هِيَ مِنَ الْفَوَاحِشِ وَ نِكَاحُ الْأَمَةِ خَيْرٌ مِنْهُ.

1. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Muhammad from ibn Khalid from al-‘Ala’ ibn Razin from a man who has said the following: “I once asked abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), about masturbation. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is of the sinful acts. Going to bed with a slave-girl is better than this.’”
