مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ يَحْيَى عَنْ أَحْمَدَ بْنِ مُحَمَّدٍ عَنِ ابْنِ مَحْبُوبٍ عَنِ الْحَسَنِ بْنِ صَالِحٍ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

إِنَّ عَلِيّاً ع أَعْتَقَ عَبْداً لَهُ نَصْرَانِيّاً فَأَسْلَمَ حِينَ أَعْتَقَهُ.

Muhammad Bin Yahya, from Ahmad Bin Muhammad, from Ibn Mahboub, from Al Hassan Bin Salih, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws having said that Ali asws emancipated a Christian slave of his asws , so he became a Muslim when he asws emancipated him’.
