عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع أَنَّ أَمِيرَ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع قَالَ:

فِي مُكَاتَبَةٍ يَطَؤُهَا مَوْلَاهَا فَتَحْمِلُ قَالَ يَرُدُّ عَلَيْهَا مَهْرَ مِثْلِهَا وَ تَسْعَى فِي قِيمَتِهَا فَإِنْ عَجَزَتْ فَهِيَ مِنْ أُمَّهَاتِ الْأَوْلَادِ.
English translationHubeAli
Ali Bin Ibrahim, from hi sfather, from Al Nowfaly, from Al Sakuny, (It has been narrated) from Abu Abdullah asws that Amir Al-Momineen asws having said regarding a contracted slave girl, her master copulated with her. He asws said: ‘A similar dower would be returned to her, and she would work regarding her price. So if she was frustrated (from paying), so she is from the mothers of the children’.
