عَلِيُّ بْنُ إِبْرَاهِيمَ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ النَّوْفَلِيِّ عَنِ السَّكُونِيِّ عَنْ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع قَالَ:

كَلْبُ الْمَجُوسِيِّ لَا تَأْكُلْ صَيْدَهُ إِلَّا أَنْ يَأْخُذَهُ الْمُسْلِمُ فَيُعَلِّمَهُ وَ يُرْسِلَهُ وَ كَذَلِكَ الْبَازِي وَ كِلَابُ أَهْلِ الذِّمَّةِ وَ بُزَاتُهُمْ حَلَالٌ لِلْمُسْلِمِينَ أَنْ يَأْكُلُوا صَيْدَهَا.

3. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from al-Nawfaliy from al-Sakuniy who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Do not use for food what the dog of a Zoroastrian person hunts, unless a Muslim has taken it to train and sends it to hunt. This applies to what the dogs of taxpayers and their falcons hunt, thus, it is lawful for the Muslims to use for food.’”
