قَالَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع نَهَى أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع أَنْ يَتَصَيَّدَ الرَّجُلُ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ وَ كَانَ ع يَمُرُّ بِالسَّمَّاكِينَ يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ فَيَنْهَاهُمْ عَنْ أَنْ يَتَصَيَّدُوا مِنَ السَّمَكِ- يَوْمَ الْجُمُعَةِ قَبْلَ الصَّلَاةِ.

17. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from Muhammad ibn Musa from al-‘ Abbas ibn Ma’ruf from Marwak ibn ‘Ubayd from Sama‘ah ibn Mehran who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin prohibited a man’s fishing on Fridays before Salat (prayer). He (a.s.), would go to the fish market on Fridays and prohibit them from fishing on Fridays before Friday Salat (prayer).”’
