قَالَ أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ ع فِي الذَّبِيحَةِ بِغَيْرِ حَدِيدَةٍ قَالَ إِذَا اضْطُرِرْتَ إِلَيْهَا فَإِنْ لَمْ تَجِدْ حَدِيدَةً فَاذْبَحْهَا بِحَجَرٍ.

1. Muhammad ibn Yahya has narrated from ‘Abd Allah ibn Muhammad from Ali ibn al-Hakam from Aban from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “About the case of slaughtering without iron, abu Ja’far (a.s.), has said, ‘In an emergency when you cannot find iron you can slaughter with stone.”’
