سَأَلْتُ أَبَا جَعْفَرٍ ع عَنْ مُسْلِمٍ ذَبَحَ شَاةً وَ سَمَّى فَسَبَقَهُ السِّكِّينُ بِحِدَّتِهَا فَأَبَانَ الرَّأْسَ فَقَالَ إِنْ خَرَجَ الدَّمُ فَكُلْ.

2. Ali ibn Ibrahim has narrated from his father from Hammad ibn ‘Isa from Hariz from Muhammad ibn Muslim who has said the following: “I once asked abu Ja‘far (a.s.), about the case of a Muslim man who slaughters a sheep and mentions the name of Allah but because of sharpness of the knife he cuts off the head. He (the Imam) said, ‘If blood has come out you can use it for food.’”
