أَنَّهُ كَانَ يَقُولُ الْقَدِيدُ لَحْمُ سَوْءٍ لِأَنَّهُ يَسْتَرْخِي فِي الْمَعِدَةِ وَ يُهَيِّجُ كُلَّ دَاءٍ وَ لَا يَنْفَعُ مِنْ شَيْءٍ بَلْ يَضُرُّهُ.

4. It is narrated from the narrator of the previous Hadith who has said the following: “Abu al-Hassan (a.s.), would say, ‘Al-Qadid (dried up meat) is a bad kind of meat because it softens in the stomach and induces every kind of illness and it does not benefit anything, instead it harms.’”
