أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بِقُدَيْرَةٍ فِيهَا نَارْبَاجٌ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا وَ قَالَ احْبِسُوا بَقِيَّتَهَا عَلَيَّ فَأُتِيَ بِهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثاً ثُمَّ إِنَّ الْغُلَامَ صَبَّ فِيهَا مَاءً فَأَتَاهُ بِهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ وَيْحَكَ أَفْسَدْتَهَا عَلَيَّ.

6. Muhammad ibn al-Walid has narrated from Yunus ibn Ya‘qub who has said the following: “I once sent for abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), a cooking pot with al-Nar Bajah in it (broth made of pomegranate). He (the Imam) ate from it and told to save the rest for him to have it twice or three times. The slave then added water in it and brought it to him. He (the Imam) said, ‘Fie upon you. You have destroyed it.’”
