اللَّحْمُ بِاللَّبَنِ مَرَقُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ ع.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Meat with milk is the sauce of Prophets, ‘Alayhim al- Salam. ’”
اللَّحْمُ بِاللَّبَنِ مَرَقُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ ع.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘Meat with milk is the sauce of Prophets, ‘Alayhim al- Salam. ’”
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع إِذَا ضَعُفَ الْمُسْلِمُ فَلْيَأْكُلِ اللَّحْمَ بِاللَّبَنِ[1].
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said that ’Amir al-Mu’minin has said, ‘When a Muslim becomes weak, he should eat meat with milk.’”
تَعَشَّيْتُ مَعَ أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بِلَحْمٍ بِلَبَنٍ فَقَالَ هَذَا مَرَقُ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ ع[2].
“I once had dinner with abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), and it was meat with milk. He (the Imam) said, ‘It is the sauce of the Prophets, ‘Alayhim al-Salam.’”
شَكَا نَبِيٌّ مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الضَّعْفَ فَقِيلَ لَهُ اطْبُخِ اللَّحْمَ بِاللَّبَنِ فَإِنَّهُمَا يَشُدَّانِ الْجِسْمَ قَالَ فَقُلْتُ هِيَ الْمَضِيرَةُ[3] قَالَ لَا وَ لَكِنِ اللَّحْمُ بِاللَّبَنِ الْحَلِيبِ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), has said, ‘One of the prophets complained before Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, against weakness and it was said to him, ‘Cook meat with milk; they strengthen the body.’ He (the narrator) has said that I then asked if it is al-Mudayrah (butter milk).’ He (the Imam) said, ‘No, it is meat wi
إِنَّ أَحَبَّ الطَّعَامِ كَانَ إِلَى رَسُولِ اللَّهِ ص النَّارْبَاجَةُ[4].
‘The most desirable food to the Messenger of Allah, O Allah, grant compensation to Muhammad and his family worthy of their services to Your cause, was al-Nar Bajah (broth made of pomegranate).”’
أَرْسَلْتُ إِلَى أَبِي عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع بِقُدَيْرَةٍ فِيهَا نَارْبَاجٌ فَأَكَلَ مِنْهَا وَ قَالَ احْبِسُوا بَقِيَّتَهَا عَلَيَّ فَأُتِيَ بِهَا مَرَّتَيْنِ أَوْ ثَلَاثاً ثُمَّ إِنَّ الْغُلَامَ صَبَّ فِيهَا مَاءً فَأَتَاهُ بِهَا فَقَالَ لَهُ وَيْحَكَ أَفْسَدْتَهَا عَلَيَّ.
“I once sent for abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), a cooking pot with al-Nar Bajah in it (broth made of pomegranate). He (the Imam) ate from it and told to save the rest for him to have it twice or three times. The slave then added water in it and brought it to him. He (the Imam) said, ‘Fie upon you. You have destroyed it.’”
كَانَ أَبُو عَبْدِ اللَّهِ ع تُعْجِبُهُ الزَّبِيبِيَّةُ.
“Abu ‘Abd Allah (a.s.), liked Zabibiyah (a dish with raisins) quite well.’”
قَالَ أَمِيرُ الْمُؤْمِنِينَ ع الْأَلْوَانُ يُعَظِّمْنَ الْبَطْنَ وَ يُخَدِّرْنَ الْأَلْيَتَيْنِ[1].
’Amir al-Mu’minin (a.s.), has said, ‘Eating many kinds of foods at the same time enlarges the belly and numbs the buttocks.’”
