إِنَّ نَبِيّاً مِنَ الْأَنْبِيَاءِ شَكَا إِلَى اللَّهِ عَزَّ وَ جَلَّ الضَّعْفَ وَ قِلَّةَ الْجِمَاعِ فَأَمَرَهُ بِأَكْلِ الْهَرِيسَةِ.

2. A number of our people have narrated from Ahmad ibn Khalid from Muhammad ibn ‘Isa from al-Dihqan from Durust ibn abu Mansur from ‘Abd Allah ibn Sinan who has said the following: “Abu ‘Abd Allah, Alayhi al-Salam, has said, ‘A Prophet of the Prophets of Allah, most Majestic, most Glorious, complained against deficiency in going to bed with one’s wife and he was commanded to eat al-Harisah (mashed grains and meat).’”

[2]الحسوة- بالضم-: الجرعة من الشراب بقدر ما يحسى مرة واحدة و الحسوة- بالفتح المرة- و الحساء- بالفتح و المد- طبيخ يتخذ من دقيق و ماء و دهن و قد يحلى و يكون رقيقا يحسى،( النهاية) و المثلثة أن يؤخذ قفيز ارز و قفيز حمص و قفيز باقلى او غيره من الحبوب ثمّ يرض جميعا و يطبخ و يسمى الكركور.ص 320
